The PHNA Xtreme Stone Protect 3-in-1 is a ready-to-use, water-based impregnation for the hydrophobic (water-repelling) and oleophobic (oil-repelling) treatment of natural stone and other porous paving units.
Why Use Xtreme Stone Protect 3-in-1 ?
GFTK Xtreme Stone Protect 3-in-1 is like a special liquid that you can easily use to protect natural stone and similar types of paving from water and oil. It can also be used before using VDW jointing compounds to make sure there’s no leftover stuff on delicate paving.
Water-Based Formula
This Xtreme Protect allows for the same strength needed without the off-gassing that can occur with other products. It does not contain harmful chemicals, solvents, or VOCs that can harm the environment or pose a health risk to anyone exposed.
Invisible
This allows you to be worry-free about your project, knowing it’s covered and sealed while allowing you to appreciate all the hard work put into its installation. This keeps the stone looking as natural as possible while offering maximum protection!
Water and oil-repellent

Construction Site Requirements
- A clean and dust-free, structurally sound, absorbent and dry paved surface which is otherwise ready for jointing; or with jointing that is fully cured and has no residual resin binder on the surface.
- Ambient and surface temperatures minimum 10 ° C / 50 °F, maximum 26 °C / 80 °F, with dry weather conditions and no rain or heavy dew forecast for at least 24 hours.

Low pressure sprayer, brushes, or rollers; sponges to remove any excess.

Application
- The areas to be treated should be completely dry, clean and free from any dirt or contaminants that could prevent or reduce penetration.
- Apply the Xtreme Stone Protect 3-in-1 with a suitable low pressure sprayer, brush, or roller evenly over the surface to saturation, but avoiding any residual ponding or puddling.
- Remove any excess with a sponge; this is particularly important on surfaces with uneven absorbency, otherwise localized darkening can occur.
- Avoid splashes on adjacent materials and remove any spillages immediately with a damp cloth. Suitable PPE should be used, including goggles and gloves etc.

Curing
- Protect area‘s treated with the Xtreme Stone Protect 3-in-1 from moisture and any other dirt or surface contamination for a minimum of 5 hours before access, 24 hours before use (at 20 °C / 68 °F and 65 % relative humidity).
- When completely dry, the treated paving can also be pointed with the appropriate PHNA jointing compound, if this was not completed before the treatment.
